in Staffordsville, is 3 miles west of Paintsville.
Steep cliffs and wooded coves border the lake shoreline, offering 1,140
acres for boating, skiing and fishing. Anglers will find excellent
opportunities to cast for walleye, bass, trout and crappie. For fishing

Paintsville Lake State Park Campground
Enjoy the great outdoors from this campground beside Paintsville Lake. The 32 developed sites have utility and sewer hook-ups and 10 primitive sites have terraced pads for tents. All campsites have a picnic table, a campfire ring and a lantern post. Rest rooms, showers and laundry facilities are centrally located. The campground also has two playgrounds, a sand volleyball court, basketball court and horseshoe pits. Leashed pets allowed.
Picnic Pavilions & Shelters
Two lakeside picnic pavilions and two shelters
can be reserved in advance by calling the campground. Reservation fee
required; one pavilion and both shelters have elecric and water.
Marina
The full service marina offers docking and
launching facilities, a fishing pier, rental houseboats, pontoons and
fishing boats, marine and fishing supplies, a restaurant and catering
service. Open year round.
