Route
23 Cultural Heritage Network represents a wide variety of artists,
crafters and others interested in the preservation of the history and
culture of Appalachia. This organization also works with various other
groups that share the same goal. The Highway 23 Roster Artists Program
is artisans who have been selected to represent the best in a variety
of artistic fields. Their art forms include mural paintings, basketry,
jewelry making, woodcarving, quilting, folk art and exclusively
designed clothing and accessories. This group also focuses on dance,
drama, photography and music. An area of concentration has been the
development of the Kentucky Heritage Collection. This collection of
products is designed and created to feature significant scenes
throughout the region. For more information on products or artists,
